How much are your Ops worth?
On Microtaches, your earnings accumulate as Ops, the platform's internal unit. You can convert them two ways: to euros on your bank account (SEPA transfer), or to gift cards in the shop — Amazon, Netflix, Spotify, Apple, Steam and many more.
The shop rate is about twice as favorable as the bank transfer rate: 1 Ops is worth €0.0082 in gift cards versus €0.0042 by bank transfer. Use the calculator below to instantly estimate what your Ops are worth in both cases.
How it works
- You earn Ops — Every validated mission credits your account automatically in Ops. Your balance updates in real time on your dashboard.
- You choose your conversion — Bank transfer (5,000 Ops minimum, 10,000 Ops untouchable reserve) or gift cards in the shop (from a few hundred Ops depending on the product).
- You receive within a few days — SEPA transfers are processed after KYC verification. Gift cards are emailed within 24 to 72 hours after purchase.
Popular gift cards
- Amazon — Gift card usable across the Amazon catalog. Available in multiple amounts, digital delivery.
- Netflix — Netflix code to top up your account or gift a subscription. Compatible with all plans.
- Spotify — Spotify Premium gift card for yourself or as a gift. Instant activation.
- Apple — Apple gift card usable on the App Store, iTunes, Apple Music, iCloud and in-app purchases.
Why the shop is more advantageous
- ×2 better rate — 1 Ops = €0.0082 in the shop versus €0.0042 by transfer. For 50,000 Ops, you get €410 in gift cards versus €210 by transfer.
- No bank fees — Transfers outside Europe cost 800 Ops in fees. The shop has no hidden fees: the displayed price is what you pay.
- No annual cap — Euro withdrawals are capped at €2,500 per year per worker (anti-money-laundering regulation). The shop is not affected.
- Fast delivery — Gift cards arrive by email within 24 to 72 hours. SEPA transfers can take up to 5 business days after KYC validation.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the exact conversion rate?
- 1 Ops = €0.0042 by SEPA bank transfer. 1 Ops = €0.0082 in gift cards or shop products. That is roughly ×1.95 value in the shop versus bank transfer.
- Why a 5,000 Ops minimum to withdraw?
- The minimum withdrawal threshold is 5,000 Ops (~€21). Below that, SEPA bank fees would not be covered. Additionally, 10,000 Ops are kept as an untouchable reserve to guarantee account activity.
- Is there an annual cap?
- Yes, €2,500 per year per worker for euro withdrawals, per French anti-money-laundering regulations (DAC7). The shop is not subject to this cap.
- What are the fees for non-European transfers?
- Transfers to a country outside the Europe zone (EU-27, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco) cost 800 Ops in fixed fees to cover SWIFT costs. The Europe zone is free.
- Is KYC verification mandatory?
- Yes for bank transfers: you must provide ID, proof of address and your IBAN before the first withdrawal. The shop works without KYC for small amounts.
- Can I combine transfer and shop?
- Yes. You can convert part of your Ops into gift cards and keep the rest for a transfer later. The Ops balance remains available as long as it is not spent.
