Make money fast: real payment times and safer options
To make money fast, compare the time to actual receipt, not registration. Here are verified payment stages and warning signs to check.

If you want to make money fast, the useful question is specific: when will the money actually be available in your account? A withdrawal button, a screenshot or a points balance cannot pay a bill. This guide compares the real stages involved, rather than imaginary earnings or registrations described as income.
The employment examples concern France, and the platform help pages apply to the services identified. If you live in Madagascar, Senegal or elsewhere, first check service access and whether you can receive payments locally. A French payment schedule is not a worldwide promise. Time-sensitive terms below were checked in November; availability must still be confirmed before you commit.
- Leboncoin, card-funded in-person sale
- ≈ 48 working hours
- Before availability with the payment partner, then bank transfer.
- Prolific to PayPal
- 24 hours
- After an eligible cash-out, not after registration.
- Balance needed for a first minimum bank withdrawal
- 15,000 Ops
- 5,000 withdrawable Ops plus a 10,000-Ops reserve.
How to make money fast: which waiting time counts?
Break your timeline into four parts: finding a buyer or employer, completing the sale or work, waiting for approval, and receiving payment. A platform's published processing time often covers only the final part. Starting the clock at registration would therefore give the wrong impression, even when the advertised transfer time itself is accurate.
Here, business or working days refer to processing days excluding weekends and public holidays under the provider's rule. Do not automatically read seven business days as one calendar week. Where an official page only says a few days, we preserve that wording: adding a numerical limit would invent precision that the source does not supply.
A first payment can also differ from later payments. It may require identity documents, correctly entered bank details and a minimum balance. Prepare those through the official website rather than sending them to a stranger in a chat. Our guide to first earnings from micro-jobs expands on the difference between doing work, receiving approval and actually getting paid.
Which legitimate options can bring money in quickly?
| Until money reaches your account | What you need | Risk to check | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leboncoin, in person | Card: ≈ 48 working hours before availability, then a few banking days; buyer wallet: almost immediate release, then bank | Completed sale, validated handover, verified identity and IBAN | Fake payment link or missing buyer |
| Leboncoin, shipped | Buyer + shipping + approval + a few banking days; no guaranteed total | Accurate parcel and completed transaction | Dispute or delivery wait |
| Vinted | Check the timeline in official help and your account first | Permitted item, buyer and compatible payout route | Treating a sale as received cash |
| Pet sitting, Rover | 3–7 business days after the booking ends, excluding finding a client | Completed booking, configured Stripe and bank details | Check fees and availability |
| Babysitting / local services | Agree a date before working; no universal speed verified | Skills, lawful arrangements and payment agreement | Non-payment or fake vacancy |
| Student job / temping in France | Employer payroll schedule; not instant payment | Recruitment, contract, work and bank details | Fraudulent recruitment promise |
| Delivery / service app | Check first-payment conditions and timing | Check local eligibility, equipment and legal status | Costs incurred before first payment |
| Paid research, Prolific | Approved threshold balance, then PayPal within 24 hours; bank time extra | £6/$6 threshold, linked PayPal; check eligibility | Mistaking pending funds for approved funds |
| Microtaches | Approval + accumulation + KYC + withdrawal; payment within 3 weeks after request | First minimum bank withdrawal: 15,000 Ops and mandatory KYC | Waiting period unsuitable for an urgent bill |

This table is not an earnings ranking. A sale converts an asset into money; wages pay for work; a reward depends on approval conditions. The best choice therefore depends on what you have available today, your deadline and the actual amount you need. Do not rely on assumed hourly rates or guaranteed daily income figures.
Selling on Leboncoin or Vinted: when does the money arrive?
According to Leboncoin’s seller payment help, an in-person sale paid by card requires around 48 working hours before funds are available with its payment partner, after the buyer validates the handover. A payment funded through the Leboncoin wallet is released almost immediately after validation. In either case, the money first reaches your platform wallet, not your bank account.
Its separate official bank-transfer page requires identity verification for the first transfer and asks for IBAN details. Transferring the full wallet balance is described as free, but receipt takes a few days depending on the bank. Summarising an in-person sale as money in your bank account the same day would therefore be misleading.
For shipping, add the time needed to find a buyer, pack the item, send it and complete the transaction. Leboncoin holds the money until receipt is confirmed or automatic release occurs after the applicable period. The page consulted does not provide one end-to-end timeline from listing to bank deposit, so we do not manufacture one.
For Vinted, confirm the applicable timeline in the official help within your account. Check help within your account and distinguish transaction completion, available balance, any identity checks, bank transfer and disputes. Do not rely on a deadline quoted in a comment when choosing an option to meet a specific bill date.
To make progress, choose items whose condition you can describe accurately. Photograph defects, measure what needs measuring and prepare packaging before offering shipping. Record the proceeds you expect after your actual costs. Selling something you own does not create recurring income: once sold, that same item cannot serve as a cash reserve for the following week.
Babysitting and pet sitting: is finishing a job enough?
A local service may be practical if you already have suitable skills and a reliable contact. It does not automatically become spendable money after the first hour. Before accepting, ask who pays you, what the service covers, on which date and by which method. For childcare, never let financial urgency replace checking your responsibilities and the working arrangement.
For a verified example, Rover’s Stripe setup help states that funds are released two days after a booking ends, with payment received between three and seven business days after that end date. We use its stated overall range rather than adding these stages together again. The clock starts neither at registration nor at the first meeting with an owner.
The same page requires payment details to be configured and says your bank must be in the country where you provide pet-sitting services. Check your circumstances and applicable fees within your account before accepting a booking. Check the commission and allow time to find a first client before deciding.
To find out a babysitting or service platform’s timeline, ask support in writing. Ask separately about profile approval, the service payment schedule and banking time. An answer that merely says fast payment has not yet supplied the information you need to plan a purchase or settle a bill. Keep the written explanation with the booking details.
Student work, temp jobs and delivery: what changes?
In France, Service Public’s salary-payment guidance distinguishes monthly-paid employees from employees who are not paid monthly. In the general case, wages are paid once a month around the same period; there is no single payment date imposed on every employer. Ask about payroll before treating quick recruitment as a quick first deposit.
For the relevant non-monthly-paid employees, including temporary workers, the page states at least two payments per month, at least every fifteen days. That is not a guarantee of a deposit fifteen days after applying. You must first be hired, perform work and establish the schedule and documentation needed for payroll to process your particular payment.
The same source distinguishes an instalment for work already performed from an advance for future hours. For monthly-paid employees, it places an instalment request in the second half of the month and describes half the monthly salary. Rules differ for non-monthly-paid employees, so an instalment should not be presented as a universal cash-out button available to every worker.
For delivery and service apps, we do not claim a generic payout timeline. Check the supported city, required status, account activation, first payment date and costs before starting. An accelerated withdrawal option visible in one account does not establish access for new members or availability everywhere. Compare several supplementary income options against your own constraints instead.
Surveys and rewards: why does the threshold delay payment?
A rewards website can offer short transfer processing without offering a fast first payment. A cash-out threshold is the balance required before requesting payment; an approved balance is the part already accepted. A pending reward is not yet withdrawable money. Check the reward type as well: a shopping voucher is not a bank transfer usable for every expense you face.
According to Prolific’s official cash-out guidance, the combined balance threshold across pounds and dollars is described as £6/$6. A PayPal account must be linked. After requesting cash-out, receipt in PayPal is stated to take within 24 hours, usually sooner; that is not a bank-account arrival time. Do not arbitrarily convert the threshold into a fixed euro amount either.
The page says pending rewards become available after researcher approval, which can take up to 22 days; a rejected submission is not paid. A 72-hour gap between cash-outs applies if a PayPal address was added or changed within the past 72 hours, fewer than four cash-outs have been made, or your device time differs from your location. After the first four cash-outs, and outside those restrictions, cash-out is available every 24 hours. These rules do not promise payment immediately after registration.
Finally, check eligibility in your country and your PayPal account's ability to receive payments before spending time registering. We promise neither admission nor a volume of studies. Our guide to fast payment and PayPal separates the service sending the reward from the wallet receiving it, and then from the bank that may receive a second transfer.

Which official timelines can we honestly chart?
Compare official limits and stages rather than typical timelines. The charts below do not share the same starting event: read their captions. Their purpose is to show processing time that remains after a specific stage has already been completed, not to rank whole opportunities.
| business days | |
|---|---|
| Published lower bound | 3 business days |
| Published upper bound | 7 business days |
The lower bound is not an individual promise, and the upper bound does not include the wait before your first booking. If you accept a multi-day stay, that service period still comes before the payment timeline. To plan around a bill, leave room in your budget rather than relying on the smallest number in the chart.
| calendar days | |
|---|---|
| Study approval: maximum | up to 22 days |
| Cash-out to PayPal | within 24 hours |
Can Microtaches help you make money fast?
No: Microtaches should not be presented as an emergency money solution. Registration is free and restricted to adults under the legal age of their country of residence. Every account is reviewed and approved by the team, and a profile questionnaire must be completed. Ask support about the account-approval timeline; an account opened by a minor is refused at identity verification.
The platform offers short micro-tasks, with instructions displayed in each task. Availability varies by day, country and profile. Some responses are checked manually before Ops, the platform's currency, are credited. No honest calculation can therefore turn registration today into a fixed amount tomorrow, or determine how long reaching a first threshold will take for a particular person.
An accepted task must be completed within 60 minutes, with at most three tasks accepted at once. An accepted task left unanswered when time runs out incurs a 20-Ops penalty. Those are work-management rules, not withdrawal-speed rules. Before accepting, check your availability and the instructions; do not accept tasks you cannot finish merely to appear active on the platform.
KYC, meaning identity verification, becomes available from a balance of 1,000 Ops and is processed within seven business days at most. It is mandatory before a first withdrawal or first shop order. That is not a payment threshold. A first minimum bank withdrawal requires 15,000 Ops: 5,000 to withdraw alongside a non-withdrawable reserve of 10,000.
At the withdrawal value of €0.0042 per Ops, 5,000 Ops represents €21 before any applicable fees; that does not mean the full 15,000-Ops balance can be withdrawn. Shop value is separate, at €0.0082 per Ops. Shop orders take up to two weeks, while payments take up to three weeks. A gift card is not a shortcut to cash in your bank account.
How can you withdraw Microtaches earnings without surprises?
Bank transfer requires an account with an IBAN. If your bank does not issue one, check your situation directly with it. A method listed by Microtaches does not guarantee that its provider allows receipt in your country. Check the provider’s rules before building a balance for that method.
| Type | Availability | Where it is used | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer (IBAN) | Bank | Available from the usual minimum | Bank account with an IBAN, in Europe or elsewhere (fixed fee outside Europe) |
| MVola | Mobile money | Available from 25,000 Ops | Madagascar |
| Orange Money | Mobile money | Available from 25,000 Ops | Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, DR Congo… |
| Wave | Mobile money | Available from 25,000 Ops | Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Burkina Faso… |
| MTN MoMo | Mobile money | Available from 25,000 Ops | Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Benin, Guinea, Congo, Ghana… |
| PayPal | Online wallet | Available from 25,000 Ops | Countries where PayPal lets you receive money |
| Skrill | Online wallet | Available from 25,000 Ops | International online wallet |
| Neteller | Online wallet | Available from 25,000 Ops | International online wallet |
| Revolut | Neobank | Coming soon (no date yet) | Coming soon |
| Crypto | Cryptocurrency | Coming soon (no date yet) | Coming soon |
Methods shown on the Withdrawals page of your Microtaches account. Countries listed are examples where the service is common.
Remember the annual €2,500 cap and fixed fee of 800 Ops for a bank transfer outside Europe. Methods other than bank transfer require 25,000 Ops; that does not make a first payment instant. Use the Ops calculator and your account conditions for planning, without treating shop value as money available in a bank account.
Fast money scams: which warning signs matter?
Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr describes fake job offers in which fraudsters impersonate recruiters to obtain money or personal information. A business name, logo or even a French company identification number in the message is not enough: those details can be copied. Verify the business through an independent channel, then confirm that the person contacting you genuinely works there.
Do not pay a stranger to unlock work, wages or supposedly mandatory equipment. A request to receive a cheque and send part of the money onwards should make you stop the conversation. The official guidance recommends ending contact with the scammer, informing the bank and reporting the fraud to police. Preserve messages and supporting evidence rather than deleting them in a rush.
- Warning sign:You must pay to access work or release your earnings.
- Warning sign:You are asked to receive and forward money for a commission.
- Warning sign:The recruiter demands sensitive documents before independent verification.
- Warning sign:High, risk-free returns are promised under time pressure.
- Warning sign:A familiar business name is used but confirmation through official channels is refused.
For trading, Forex or crypto-assets, the AMF flags very high risk-free returns and pressure to decide quickly. Its blacklists are not exhaustive: a missing name is not proof of authorisation. Check the required permissions. Investing money needed for a bill is not a reasonable method of obtaining guaranteed quick income, whatever language the person selling the opportunity uses.
Our guide to working from home without paying to start provides a screening method. The principle remains simple: a recruiter does not need you to become a personal financial intermediary. Receiving an initial payment does not make an offer legitimate, especially when it is used to persuade you to move a larger amount afterwards.
What should you do over the next seven days?
This plan sets out actions, not a promise of payment within seven days. Start with your deadline and the resources you actually have. Choose one main route and one backup: opening many accounts can fill your schedule without producing a withdrawable balance. At each stage, record what is complete, what remains missing and who needs to respond.
- 1Set the actual needDay 1
Write down the amount needed, deadline and accepted payment method. If no verified timeline fits, contact the creditor now to discuss the possibilities rather than waiting for hypothetical earnings to arrive.
- 2Choose an accessible routeDays 1–2
List items you could sell, useful skills and reliable contacts. Choose an option you can carry out without a substantial initial purchase. Do not fund an income promise with money set aside for essential expenses.
- 3Verify the first paymentDay 2
Check official help, the threshold, account approval and local receipt options. Record the clock’s starting event: service completion, approval or cash-out. A claim of fast payment does not replace this verification.
- 4List or apply accuratelyDays 3–4
Prepare honest photographs or a focused application. For services, confirm the scope and payment date in writing. Supply documents only through the intended official channel after checking the recipient.
- 5Follow up without giving inDays 5–6
Answer legitimate questions, keep evidence and refuse to move money for others. If approval remains pending, do not count it as available money or spend it in advance.
- 6Review the net resultDay 7
Separate money actually received from available balances and pending amounts. Deduct actual costs. Continue only if the effort and timing still suit you; plan the following week without turning uncertainty into a promise.
Beyond the first week, distinguish a one-off cash injection from a recurring activity. Our guide to micro-tasks and passive income explains why active work should not be sold as automatic income. The cashback versus micro-tasks comparison also helps avoid treating savings linked to a purchase as money earned without spending.
How do you choose without believing in easy money?
| Route to examine | Deciding condition | |
|---|---|---|
| Very close deadline | An item already available or a service already agreed | Confirmed receipt date, not merely an expected sale |
| This week’s budget | A sale or service with all stages understood | No spending based on a pending balance |
| Building a supplement | Regular work or an activity that fits your time | Written schedule and actual costs considered |
| Microtaches | A non-urgent supplement | Approval, KYC, threshold and payment time acceptable to you |
Source: editorial synthesis of the rules cited; no guarantee of payment within the period shown.
The deciding factor is not the most attractive promise but the complete chain to your account. Keep an option only if you understand the work, approval conditions, known costs and receiving method. If important information is missing, ask for it or rule the option out for this deadline. You can return later without making your urgent budget depend on it.
Resale and services are worth exploring if you already have the necessary resources. Payment remains conditional. Microtaches is only suitable as a supplement whose timeline you can accept.
- Timelines separated into verifiable stages
- No recommended upfront purchase to access a promise
- Comparison focuses on money actually received
- No guaranteed first client or income
- Several timelines still need account-level checks
- Points and gift cards do not replace a bank balance
Read our analysis of easy money online before responding to an attractive offer. Keep one simple rule: needing money never reduces the checks you should make. It is better to walk away from an opaque promise than also lose your money, personal documents or access to your bank account while trying to solve the original problem.
- Can I make money today?
- Only if a real opportunity already exists and payment actually arrives; this guide does not guarantee it. Publishing a listing or booking a service is not enough. Verify the full timeline before relying on the money. On a platform, the wallet and your bank account are separate stages, and identity verification may also come before a first transfer. Start from your actual deadline, not an advertising slogan.
- Does Leboncoin pay instantly?
- Not in every case. For an in-person sale paid by card, its help describes around 48 working hours before availability with the payment partner after validation. Wallet-funded payment is released almost immediately after validation. In both cases, funds reach the Leboncoin wallet first. Bank transfer then takes a few days depending on the bank, and the first transfer requires verified identity.
- What Vinted timeline is used here?
- For Vinted, confirm the applicable timeline in the official help within your account. Check help inside your account before planning around a deadline. Separate the sale, transaction completion, available balance and bank receipt. A user comment is not enough to establish the schedule that applies to your account or country, particularly if you need the money for a specific bill.
- When does Rover pay sitters?
- Rover’s official Stripe setup page states bank receipt between three and seven business days after the booking ends. It also describes releasing funds two days after that end date. This schedule excludes finding your first client and performing the service itself. Configure Stripe and bank details correctly, then check the applicable fees and conditions for your circumstances before accepting a booking.
- Are paid surveys paid the same day?
- Do not confuse a pending reward with a withdrawable balance. Prolific’s consulted page states PayPal receipt within 24 hours after an eligible cash-out, but the combined £6/$6 threshold must be reached and rewards approved. Approval can take up to 22 days. Bank receipt is a further stage. Do not count on guaranteed admission or a guaranteed quantity of studies, so the transfer time is not a first-earnings promise.
- Is Microtaches suitable for an urgent bill?
- No. An account must be reviewed and approved, the profile completed and a sufficient balance accumulated. KYC becomes available at 1,000 Ops and takes up to seven business days. A first minimum bank withdrawal requires a 15,000-Ops balance and verified identity. Payment then takes up to three weeks. There is no fixed accumulation timeline, so do not make an urgent payment depend on it.
- Why does the first bank withdrawal need 15,000 Ops?
- The minimum withdrawal is 5,000 Ops, while a 10,000-Ops reserve remains non-withdrawable. You therefore need 15,000 Ops to request that first minimum bank withdrawal. At withdrawal value, the 5,000 Ops represents €21 before any applicable fees. This does not make the entire 15,000-Ops balance withdrawable. KYC and the other conditions still apply, including a bank account with an IBAN for bank transfer.
- Does student work or temping guarantee quick payment?
- No: recruitment and payment are separate events. In France, the general case provides for monthly wages; relevant non-monthly-paid employees have specific rules, including at least two payments per month. Ask the employer for your actual schedule before starting. Neither submitting an application nor completing a first working day guarantees immediately available money in your bank account. Check the necessary payroll documentation as well.
- What if an offer asks me to forward money?
- Do not use your account as an intermediary for a stranger. Europol describes a money mule as someone transferring third-party money for a commission, a money-laundering mechanism. If you think you are involved, stop transfers immediately, contact your bank or payment provider and report the matter to police. Keep the messages and evidence; do not continue in an attempt to recover a promised payment.
- How should I check crypto or Forex income claims?
- The AMF flags very high risk-free returns, unsolicited contact and pressure to decide quickly. Consult its warnings and check the necessary authorisations; absence from a blacklist does not mean a company is authorised. Do not turn money needed for essential expenses into a speculative stake to try to meet a deadline. An advertisement establishes no guaranteed quick income, however convincing its presentation might appear.
