Mon Opinion Compte review: points, earnings and payouts

This Mon Opinion Compte review looks at the practical decision behind joining a French survey panel: whether the time you spend and the information you share are worth the reward you can actually redeem. A legitimate operator and a growing points balance are not enough on their own. The useful outcome is a reward you can receive and use under conditions you understand.

The guide separates written rules, details that require an account check and clearly labelled worked examples. Evaluate your own experience rather than budgeting around an average income. Our guide to choosing reputable paid survey sites provides the wider context: deciding that a panel is worth trying is very different from budgeting around money that it has not yet delivered.

Mon Opinion Compte review: who operates the survey panel?

The Mon Opinion Compte terms identify Dynata, LLC and group companies, including Dynata Global UK Limited and Research Now Group, LLC, as the panel operator. A panel is a pool of people who may take part in market research. Members supply responses, while the organiser sets participation and reward conditions. Joining does not mean applying for a job or entering an employment relationship.

Knowing who operates a service is a useful starting point, not proof that every invitation will suit you or every redemption will be effortless. Keep three questions separate: who runs the website, what its contract actually provides, and whether participation offers value for you. A clear answer to the first question does not automatically settle the other two. Your own time limit and reward preferences still matter.

The homepage mainly presents taking surveys and earning rewards, while the terms cover a broader range of market-research activities. That wording does not establish that every activity is available to every French member. The useful focus here is the survey-to-points-to-redemption journey. Understand that journey before opening several accounts with different services or assuming that a long list of advertised possibilities means a steady supply of suitable opportunities.

Who can join Mon Opinion Compte in France?

Section 2 limits the services to people aged 16 or older who reside in France. Speaking French is not enough. Living in Madagascar, Senegal or another French-speaking country does not meet the French panel’s stated residence requirement. If you live elsewhere, ask the provider whether it has a local service and which local terms apply. Do not assume that a translated website is an invitation to register from any country.

The contract also limits participation to one account per person. Do not borrow someone’s identity, enter a false residence or create another account to get around an access problem. Use support instead. The terms separately mention research involving minors through a parent’s account with parental consent. That provision is not a replacement for the minimum age governing a person’s own panel registration, and should not be treated as a general invitation for younger children to join.

Before starting, decide which email address you will monitor and what personal information you are comfortable sharing. Use a unique password rather than reusing the password for your email account. These are sensible security precautions, not ways to guarantee earnings. They also keep you independent of anyone offering to prepare, sell or unlock an account for a fee. Registration on the official homepage is described as free; an intermediary is not needed to assess the service.

Before-you-join checklist
  • Good sign:Be at least 16 and genuinely resident in France.
  • Good sign:Use one account and accurate personal information.
  • Good sign:Read the terms and privacy notice.
  • Good sign:Check the catalogue before investing substantial time.
  • Warning sign:Pay an intermediary or use a false identity.

How do surveys and points work?

The official homepage describes a straightforward sequence: join for free, participate in research, earn points and redeem rewards. That summary does not remove the need to read each invitation. Check the proposed reward, any estimated duration, participation conditions and any additional stages before starting. Keep those details if you want a useful record when a credit appears to be missing. An invitation is information to evaluate, not an obligation to accept.

The terms say incentives encourage participation and are not calculated as compensation proportional to time spent. In other words, you are not signing up to an hourly rate. You can still calculate your own effective return to decide whether the activity suits you, but that calculation does not become a promise from the panel. Keep expected points, credited points and rewards actually received in separate categories rather than treating all three as money already available.

A simple log can include the date, survey reference, start and finish times, offered points, credited points and redemption outcome. Do not reproduce confidential study questions; retain only the references needed to track your participation. Our LifePoints review and reward guide offers another way to think about the same decision process without assuming that two panels share the same rules. Compare the complete journey rather than the appearance of their account dashboards.

Mon Opinion Compte review: how much are points worth?

Check the rewards catalogue in your account for the applicable French conversion schedule. It would therefore be misleading to state that a particular number of points always equals one euro. Read the rate from an actual reward offered in your account, including its face value, points cost and restrictions on use. A rate quoted elsewhere is not a substitute for that offer.

Use this formula: useful value per point = reward value ÷ points required. Useful value need not equal face value. A voucher for a purchase you would otherwise never make does not necessarily help with your normal expenses. Compare different reward choices rather than assuming an identical conversion rate across the catalogue. The terms expressly allow Dynata to change points values, redemption levels and conversion ratios, so yesterday’s calculation should not be treated as permanent.

As an illustration only, if an imaginary reward offered €10 for 500 points, the resulting value would be €0.02 per point. Those figures are not Mon Opinion Compte’s rate. They demonstrate why any review needs evidence for both sides of the conversion. Without that evidence, a neat table converting 100, 500 or 1,000 points into euros would create false precision and could lead you to spend time on an offer you would otherwise decline.

How long does it take to earn a reward?

Do not rely on an average duration by survey type found online. Where an invitation gives an estimate, that figure need not equal your total time: reading instructions, accessing the service, checking outcomes and handling an issue also form part of the experience. For your own decision, time the whole session rather than just the final questionnaire. The goal is not to rush through answers. It is to understand what the activity actually costs you in time and attention.

The next two charts are arithmetic illustrations, not observations of this panel. They assume the same hypothetical €1 reward has actually been obtained and show what happens when the time requirement changes. Ten minutes corresponds to €6 an hour, twenty minutes to €3 and thirty minutes to €2. None of these figures says how many invitations are available, whether you can complete another survey afterwards or what an actual Mon Opinion Compte invitation would pay.

Calculate your actual personal return over a complete period: the value of rewards received divided by all hours spent on the service. If you have not received a reward yet, show the unredeemed balance separately rather than recording it as cash received. Set a time limit that fits your everyday life. If you reach it without a clear path to redemption, pausing is a valid outcome. You do not need to recover previous time by committing even more.

Mon Opinion Compte payouts: threshold, PayPal and timing?

The homepage gives reward examples including Amazon and App Store & iTunes, and also mentions cash. That does not establish the availability of a particular brand, wallet or denomination in your account. For PayPal in France, check availability and delivery times in your account. Check the option shown when you redeem, its instructions and any clarification from support. Do not choose a service on the basis of a payment logo alone.

An important clause needs reading in full: section 8 F gives a general redemption threshold equivalent to USD 50 unless a lower redemption option is available. It is therefore not proof of a single USD 50 threshold for France, nor evidence for a euro-denominated minimum. The wording expressly allows lower options. Ask for the minimum applying to your chosen reward instead of converting a general clause into an assumed local catalogue rule. The exception is essential, not a footnote to omit.

Before submitting, check the destination details, total points cost, reward conditions and procedure for reporting non-delivery. The terms say points are deducted when redemption is requested and that exchanges are final unless an applicable exception or written agreement provides otherwise. They also allow identity verification through a third-party provider, naming Veriff. Only provide documents through a verified official process. Being asked for verification is not a reason to send sensitive documents to an unsolicited message or an unrelated contact.

Do points expire, and what happens if you leave?

Section 8 B says points expire one year after posting, unless they are forfeited or cancelled earlier under the terms. That matters if you participate infrequently. A slowly growing balance is not necessarily a balance that can remain untouched indefinitely. Record credit dates and ask support how expiry is displayed in your account. Do not replace the written rule with an old recollection of how the service once worked or assume that occasional logins automatically protect every point.

The contract also explains that the balance is not a bank account, earns no interest and cannot be combined with another member’s points, including a relative’s. That rules out treating it as savings or planning to merge small household balances. Review the rewards actually available at reasonable intervals. Avoid spending extra time solely to protect a balance whose usable value remains unclear. Time already spent is not, by itself, a reason to keep participating indefinitely.

Section 10 allows withdrawal through the procedures shown on the site or in communications, or by contacting the member-support team. Before closing an account, ask what will happen to the balance and any pending reward request. Unsubscribing from communications and handling personal data are addressed separately. Keep confirmation of what you requested rather than assuming that one action automatically resolves every issue. A clear exit process is part of evaluating a service, even when you initially intend to stay.

What personal data do you share with Dynata?

The Dynata privacy policy describes the collection and use of personal data, sharing, international transfers and users’ rights and choices. It covers research services as well as activities outside research. Do not base your decision on the assumption that survey answers are necessarily anonymous simply because they are opinions. Read the framework governing your account and the information applying to the particular study. Those can involve different purposes and different recipients.

The useful question is not only whether a piece of information seems ordinary, but whether you accept its purpose and recipients. Before supplying sensitive information, check whether it is required, why it is requested and what choices are offered. You can decide not to participate when the request does not suit you. An anticipated reward does not oblige you to accept data collection that you do not understand or consider excessive for the value on offer.

Finally, distinguish a profile question, a research response and identity verification associated with redemption. They serve different purposes. If a request surprises you, return through the official website and ask support for an explanation before sending a document. For a concern about personal data, use the contact details and procedures in the privacy policy rather than posting identity documents or account details on a public forum. A public complaint should never require public disclosure of sensitive information.

Negative reviews and missing points: how should you handle a problem?

This review does not give a Trustpilot score or turn unverified accounts into a satisfaction statistic. Without a documented set of reviews, it cannot claim that a complaint is typical or represents most members. The terms do, however, expressly describe a procedure for disputed credits and debits. That is a more practical starting point for your own case than an isolated rating or a comment that does not identify the relevant participation or redemption request.

Section 8 K directs members to helpdesk@monopinioncompte.fr, supplying the member’s name, email address and specific details of the issue. Include a reference, date, affected points and a concise description. For redemption issues, add the request confirmation if you have it. Never send your password, and avoid attachments containing unrelated confidential information. Keep a copy of the correspondence so that any follow-up can refer to the same facts rather than starting the explanation again.

The official help page also offers a support assistant. The terms describe reasonable efforts to investigate and respond, without establishing a numerical French resolution deadline here. Do not open another account while the issue is being considered. Our YouGov review can help frame a comparison with another panel, but switching your attention to a different provider does not replace pursuing the original issue with the service responsible for it.

Mon Opinion Compte or Toluna, Ipsos iSay and YouGov?

A useful comparison is about the clarity of the journey, not which service displays the largest points number. Points on different platforms are not a common currency. Compare a reward you would actually use, its cost, eligibility conditions and the time you have personally measured. You cannot establish an earnings ranking without comparable evidence for those factors and for successful redemption. A panel that looks generous in points may still be unsuitable for your circumstances.

The French Toluna FAQ describes points and their exchange for rewards; our Toluna review explores the decision criteria. YouGov’s Our panel page also describes points and a redemption threshold, without giving a numerical French schedule on that page. Those descriptions support comparing the models, but they do not prove that either service will pay more for your profile or supply more suitable invitations.

For Ipsos iSay, confirm amounts and delivery times in its official catalogue and help pages. Open the official pages in your browser and use our Ipsos iSay guide to organise the questions you want answered. The best choice may be to keep just one panel, or none at all, if the reward available to you does not justify the time and data involved.

Can Microtaches complement survey panels?

Microtaches offers short micro-tasks, with instructions displayed in each task. It is not an employer or a promise of a salary. Registration is free and restricted to adults under the legal age rules of their country of residence. The team reviews and approves each account, and a profile questionnaire must be completed. Task availability varies by day, country and profile, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed supply of work alongside survey participation.

An accepted task must be answered within 60 minutes, and at most three tasks may be accepted at once. An accepted task left unanswered when time expires incurs a 20-Ops penalty. Some answers are checked manually before Ops are credited. These rules belong in your decision, not in the small print after you start. Do not accept a task unless you have time to read its instructions and provide an answer before the deadline.

The unit is the Ops: its shop value is €0.0082 and its withdrawal value is €0.0042. Neither value applies to Mon Opinion Compte points. Use the Ops calculator to distinguish the two uses, and check the shop for order conditions. Identity verification becomes available from a 1,000-Ops balance and must be completed before the first withdrawal or first shop order. Processing takes no more than seven business days.

What should you expect from Microtaches withdrawals?

The withdrawal minimum is 5,000 Ops, with a non-withdrawable reserve of 10,000 Ops: a first minimum bank withdrawal therefore requires a 15,000-Ops balance. Bank transfer requires an account with an IBAN; check this with your bank. A listed method does not guarantee that its provider serves your country: check receiving eligibility with the provider too. These are Microtaches rules, not Mon Opinion Compte rules.

Microtaches withdrawals are paid within a maximum of three weeks; shop orders within a maximum of two weeks. The annual withdrawal cap is €2,500, and a bank transfer outside Europe carries a fixed fee of 800 Ops. The other method thresholds appear in the official table above. Base your choice on what is actually accessible, not just a theoretical balance value. Check the conditions shown in your account, and do not transfer a rule from one platform to another.

Our final Mon Opinion Compte review: who is it for?

Mon Opinion Compte is worth considering if you meet the residence rule, accept the data conditions and want an occasional activity. That decision still depends on one essential check: finding a reward you can actually redeem under understandable cost and delivery conditions. If you need money for a fixed deadline, an unconfirmed catalogue and an uncertain supply of opportunities do not provide a reliable budgeting basis. Exploring a panel and relying on it financially are different decisions.

Verdict: a panel to assess, not income to budget around

The operator and eligibility rules are identified. Its value to you depends mainly on the account catalogue, total time spent and comfort with the information shared.

Strengths
  • Registration described as free.
  • Dynata identified in the terms.
  • Written expiry and complaint provisions.
Limitations
  • Public French conversion rate not confirmed.
  • No guaranteed hourly return.
  • Points expire after one year under the terms.
Best for: Eligible residents of France with limited spare time and modest expectations.

The safest approach is a reversible decision: check the rules, track your actual time, try without paying and stop if redemption does not suit you. Compare platforms using rewards received, practical constraints and information requested rather than monthly promises. Retain useful records and confirm any tax obligations with the relevant authority. Section 8 J notes that rewards may be taxable; that is not a determination of your individual position or a reason to assume that a small reward is automatically exempt.

Is Mon Opinion Compte free to join?
The official homepage describes registration as free. That does not mean your time or the personal information you share has no cost to you. Read the account conditions and check the rewards catalogue before participating. You do not need a paid intermediary to assess the service. Do not buy an account or hand your login details to someone promising to generate earnings for you.
What is the minimum age to join?
The French panel’s terms set a minimum age of 16 and require residence in France. They also restrict membership to one account per person. A separate provision about some research involving minors through parents does not replace the rule for personal registration. Do not confuse these conditions with Microtaches, which only accepts adults under the legal age rules of their country of residence.
Can I join from another French-speaking country?
Residence in France is a written eligibility condition for the French Mon Opinion Compte panel. Speaking French or having a French email address does not replace genuine residence. If you live elsewhere, ask the provider whether a local panel exists and which terms govern it. Do not enter a false address or work around a geographical restriction using someone else’s identity or borrowed account.
How much is one Mon Opinion Compte point worth?
To find the current French conversion rate, sign in to the rewards catalogue. Read the points cost and value of a reward in your account, then divide its useful value by the points required. The result applies to that particular reward and may change. Microtaches Ops values never apply to points earned on this survey panel.
What is the minimum redemption amount?
Check the French minimum for your chosen reward inside your account. Section 8 F gives a general threshold equivalent to USD 50 unless a lower redemption option is available. That exception prevents treating USD 50 as a single confirmed French threshold. Equally, do not convert the general clause into an assumed euro minimum without a specific official offer that applies to your redemption.
Does Mon Opinion Compte offer PayPal?
Check your account to see whether PayPal is offered in France. The homepage mentions rewards and cash, but that does not establish that a specific wallet is available to your account. Check the signed-in catalogue and redemption instructions. Ask support about the relevant threshold, any verification requirements and delivery timing before spending time on the panel solely because you want that payment method.
How much can I earn per hour?
Calculate your personal hourly return rather than relying on an online estimate. Its terms say incentives are not calculated in proportion to time spent. The charts in this guide are illustrations, not measured results. For your own records, divide the value of rewards actually received by all the time spent using the service, and report any balance still awaiting redemption separately rather than counting it as delivered income.
Do Mon Opinion Compte points expire?
Section 8 B says points expire one year after posting unless they are forfeited or cancelled earlier under the terms. Your balance is therefore not bank savings held indefinitely. Track credit dates and ask how expiry dates are shown in your account. Before closing an account, also confirm what will happen to its balance and to any reward requests that are still being processed.
What should I do if points are missing?
The terms direct members to contact helpdesk@monopinioncompte.fr with their name, email address and specific details of the problem. Add the date, reference and affected points if you have kept them. The help page also provides a support assistant. Never send your password or create a second account to bypass the issue. Keep a copy of your request so subsequent correspondence can refer to the same evidence.
Should I choose Mon Opinion Compte or Microtaches?
They are separate services to assess against your residence, expectations and their respective rules. Mon Opinion Compte is a survey panel; Microtaches offers short micro-tasks with displayed instructions. Microtaches is adults-only, requires account approval and has its own withdrawal thresholds. Neither should be presented as a promise of regular income or a guaranteed substitute for employment. You can also decide that neither suits your available time or privacy preferences.
