Managing your account securely and knowing what happens to the information you entrust to the platform.
How do I change my password?
From your profile, in the security section: enter a new password and confirm it. The change signs out your other sessions.
I forgot my password — what do I do?
Use the reset link on the login page. An email with a time-limited link is sent to the account's address.
I did not receive the reset email — why?
Check your spam folder and the spelling of the address you entered. If your account was created via Google or Apple, it may have no password: sign in with that button instead.
What password should I choose?
A long password, unique to this platform and never reused elsewhere. A password manager is the safest approach.
Can I sign in with Google or Apple?
Yes, both methods are available at signup and at login. They save you from remembering an extra password.
Where do I see my active sign-in methods?
In the security section of your profile: email, Google and Apple are listed according to what is linked to your account.
Can I change my account email address?
The address identifies the account and cannot be changed freely. Write to support explaining the reason for the change.
What if I think my account has been compromised?
Change your password immediately, which signs out every device, then notify support. Also check the security of the linked email inbox.
How do I sign out of all my devices?
Change your password: existing sessions are invalidated and a new login is required everywhere.
Is there two-factor authentication?
Signing in via Google or Apple gives you those accounts' protections, including their two-factor authentication. No date is announced for a native second factor.
What data does the platform collect?
Account identification data, the profile questionnaire you fill in, your task activity, and identity verification documents if you request a transfer. The details are in the privacy policy.
Why so many profile questions?
Campaigns target specific profiles: without this information, very few tasks can be offered to you. It is used for targeting, not for selling data with your name attached.
Can I decline some profile questions?
The questionnaire must be completed to access tasks, since it drives targeting. You remain free not to continue with the signup.
Can I correct my profile information?
Yes for most fields, directly from your profile. Some identity-related fields are locked once verification has started.
Why are some fields locked?
Because they were used to verify your identity or process a payment. Changing them afterwards would open the door to fraud; a justified correction goes through support.
Is my IBAN stored in plain text?
No, it is encrypted in the database and can only be decrypted for you and for payment processing. It is never shown in full in internal lists.
How long are my identity documents kept?
For as long as processing and the legal retention obligations tied to payments require. The exact duration is stated in the privacy policy.
Who can view my verification documents?
Only authorised team members who handle verification files. Documents are stored in a private space that is not publicly accessible.
What are my rights over my data?
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. These rights are exercised through support, which replies within the delays set by regulation.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Send the request to support from your account email address. You receive an export of the data the platform holds about you.
How do I delete my account?
Deletion is requested from your profile. It is permanent: any remaining balance is lost, so consider converting it beforehand if the conditions are met.
Can I recover a deleted account?
No, deletion is irreversible. Signing up again creates a blank account, with no history and no balance.
Is everything erased when I delete my account?
Account data is deleted, but some payment-related information must be retained to meet accounting and legal obligations.
Can I pause my account without deleting it?
Yes, simply stop logging in: there is no activity requirement. Turn off notifications if you no longer want to be contacted.
Does the platform use cookies?
It uses what is necessary for account and session functionality. The details and purposes are described in the privacy policy.
Where is my data hosted?
With a professional hosting provider identified in the legal notice, with the corresponding security and backup measures.
Is my IP address recorded?
Yes, notably at signup, to detect duplicate accounts and automated attempts. It is a security measure, not advertising tracking.
Can I use a VPN?
A VPN hides your real location and can cause anti-fraud checks to fail or make you ineligible for some campaigns. It is best to disable it while working on tasks.
Is my data used to target ads at me?
It is used to offer you tasks matching your profile, not to feed ad networks with your identity.
Are my task answers anonymised?
Results passed to clients are aggregated or anonymised depending on the campaign. Your identity is not attached to the deliverables.
Who do I contact about my data?
Support, from your account email address, stating the purpose of your request. Contact details are also given in the privacy policy.
Can I complain to a data protection authority?
Yes — if the answer you receive does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the competent authority in your country of residence.
How do I recognise an official email from the platform?
It comes from the official Microtaches domain and never asks for your password or a payment. When in doubt, go to the site directly rather than clicking.
What if I receive a phishing email?
Do not click anything, never enter your credentials from a received link, and forward the email to support. Change your password if you already entered something.
Can support ask for my password?
Never. No one on the team will ask for your password, or for a code received by email or SMS.
How are my bank details protected?
They are encrypted, restricted to processing transfers, and never displayed in clear to other users or in routine internal exports.
Someone created an account with my details — what do I do?
Contact support immediately with whatever evidence you have. Duplicates and impersonation are investigated and can lead to the offending account being blocked.
Why only one account per person?
Because campaigns rely on unique profiles: multiple accounts distort results and are treated as fraud.
Can two people in the same household each have an account?
Yes, provided each has their own identity and email address and fills in their own profile. Accounts managed by the same person are not allowed.
How do I update my name after a legal name change?
Contact support with the relevant supporting document. Your name must stay consistent with your identity verification documents.
Where can I see my Ops movement history?
In your profile: every credit, penalty, purchase and withdrawal appears with its date and reason.
What happens if I declare false information?
Permanent account blocking, with no payout of the remaining balance. Inconsistencies surface at the identity verification stage at the latest.
Can I log in from a shared computer?
Avoid it, and if you must, always sign out afterwards and do not save the password in the browser.
What happens if a minor created an account?
The account is closed as soon as it is detected and the associated data is deleted, apart from legal retention obligations.
